A dedicated father tried everything to search for his children privately. Finally, on Matteo James' 12th birthday, a father went to social media to spread the word of his plight. Stephen James posted the following:

I want to say Happy Birthday to my son Matteo. He turns 12 today. I havent seen him and his little brother Zane in 80 days since they were kidnapped to Mexico by their biological mother and maternal grandmother. I miss them tremendously and
I know my sons miss me as well as being scared and confused. Please share this with as many people as possible in the hope that eventually Matteo or someone close to him will see this. Thank you.

The mother of the children was on a supervised visit when she took the children. It is alleged they ran to Mexico with the children. This case, however, takes legal twists and turns from there. The court granting sole custody to the father, Stephen James, is Bell County. CPS and law enforcement involvement from before the children became missing involves Williamson, Tarrant, and Bell Counties. The father lives in Williamson County, the mother lived in Tarrant County. All these municipalities, including the cities within have a hand in. Then, there are the higher ups, due to the nature of Mexico involvement. The issue within all of these municipalities is no one wants to issue the warrant. Every side is waiting for the side to do so. So, as Stephen waits, his children could be anywhere.
The pictures above are the last ones taken by their dad. The children have been missing for almost three months. Imagine if this were your child. Would you want people to scream it from the rooftops for you? If so, help Stephen by doing it for him! Help bring his boys back home. Zane will be celebrating a birthday in November. He needs to be celebrating it with his legal guardian, his Dad!

The only picture found of the mother, Alma Alicia Gomez James (aliases include Alicia Gomez, Alicia James), is not as recent. She's dropped weight, but facial recognition shouldn't be that difficult.
Un padre dedicado intentado todo para buscar a sus hijos en privado. Por último, en el cumpleaños 12 de Matteo James, un padre se fue a los medios de comunicación social para difundir la palabra de su difícil situación. Stephen James publicó lo siguiente:

Quiero decir feliz cumpleaños a mi hijo Matteo.

Curiosity killed the cat. I'm not a cat though. When I wrote Don't Free Jabin Bogan, exactly what I thought would come of it did. Either people loved or hated me for my bluntness. Then, George came in. Whoever this mysterious George is, thank you. You made me dig deeper than I ever have.

george 06/07/2012 13:27 well i grew up with bogan from elementary through high school and he seems to always find him self at the wrong place at the wrong time.. i hope he gets out..

Recently, I tried to contact Mekenye, whom had no comment. He was unwilling to speak of anything after the FMCSA shot Demco down. Some of the bigger violations included drivers that weren't licensed to drive CMV's, and no insurance, so a big shock he chose not to speak to me. Then, onto Spector, who was supposedly representing Bogan. He can't represent Bogan due to the fact he's licensed to practice in the United States, not Mexico. Spector was the proverbial snake in the grass. He's a lawyer who helps Mexicans come to the U.S. He saw a chance for infamy, and he ran with it.

Lastly, I spoke to the one victim in this whole case, Howie Glaser. He's the guy who's ammo will probably never be turned over. After promising him several times that I did not work for Mexico Trucker, although Porter and I are friends, and ensuring him I worked for myself, he opened up. (Howie, sorry for waking you up.) Howie is to the point he wants to move on. I haven't showed Howie everything yet, so Howie will read this when yall do, with his jaw most certainly hanging.

Yesterday's news re-affirmed that Porter and I were right. Bogan chose to take the toll lane straight into Mexico, and was directed by the Mexican Border Patrol to the vehicle check station after he tried to pull an illegal u turn. He never spoke to U.S. Border Patrol, like so many who weren't there (I do not believe they need to be mentioned again) tried to claim. The first thing they asked him for was his papers, and that's when all hell broke loose for Bogan. For more of the actual events, as told by the actual people there, click here.

For the last few weeks however, my mind stays on one thing. The comment George made about Jabin always being at the wrong place at the wrong time. I kept thinking that if this were true, there's other crimes. So, I went looking. This man isn't innocent by any means!

A breakdown of Jabin Akeem Bogan, born 07/05/1984. I'd give more, but I'd prefer not to have the poor boy's identity stolen while he sits in prison in Mexico.

11/05/2002 Theft 1500.
11/11/2002 Aggravated Robbery. He's on deferred adjudication.
11/12/2002 Theft 1500.
05/20/2003 Resisting Arrest
8/26/2003 Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle
02/05/2005 Criminal Trespass building (later dismissed)
07/11/2005 Assault causing bodily injury
09/16/2005 Assault/Family Violence (est. probation end date is 02/12/2013)
07/05/2006 Failure of a fugitive to provide identification, intent to give false information
09/12/2006 Assault causing bodily injury to family member
09/16/2006 Violation of a protective order
01/31/2007 Failure of a fugitive to provide identification, intent to give false information
10/15/2007 Interfering with an Emergency telephone call (later dismissed)

Were all these also mistakes? Wrong place, wrong time, wrong turn, wrong country, wrong load, wrong story. When will it ever stop being a mistake? Make him man up. The American judicial system has failed us with this man. Maybe, just maybe, the Mexican judicial system will not fail us on this note. Alas, Jabin is not the innocent man everyone has made it out to be. Councilman Carl Robinson, for your blind efforts with your stand, I hope your town is smart enough to boot your ass out of your seat during the next elections. Do your research before opening your mouth!!

Everything is eventual in the end. I'll leave you with that thought.

These
are at the center of an international smuggling controversy. Due to one man's "mistake" that led to him to lie to police in a different country, breaking the law. Let's bring the face of Jabin Bogan Akeem or Jabin Akeem Bogan or Bogan Akeem Jabin or Bogan Jabin Akeem, depending on which source of media you are using.
You see, Jabin turned the wrong way on a street. All of us do this. The difference is, most would make a u-turn before they went into another country illegally. He claims there was no place to do that. Let's look at the evidence shall we? These pictures are right at the border, going into Mexico.
Also, all outbound traffic (i.e. traffic going into Mexico) passes through a Mexican checkpoint. The U.S. is not responsible for traffic going into Mexico, just as Mexico is not responsible for traffic going into the U.S. If you decide to go from Mexico to the U.S., you must pass through the U.S. Border Patrol. If you decide to go from the U.S. into Mexico, you deal with Mexican border patrol. The claim that a checkpoint on the U.S. side told him to go into Mexico and turn around is bunk. The color of the uniform doesn't even match. He claimed they were in a dark blue uniform. If you've ever been through one of the many checkpoints along 8, 10, 40, and the ones sprouting up on 90 and 80 on occasion, you'd know they never wear dark blue. They are always in military colors or black. The colors don't change right at the border.
Now, he might've been dumb enough to not believe the Mexican agents could speak English, and somehow missed the Spanish writing all over the uniform, after all, he couldn't read the many signs warning him that he was about to enter Mexico, but how did he miss the HUGE sign in Spanish saying Welcome to Mexico in Spanish? How did he not think "I'm stopping right now, and will stay stopped until someone helps me turn around?"
Also, how he did he forget he had something, or shall I say, 268,000 some things to claim? They go through a list, in English, of things to claim. Including, but not limited to, guns, AMMUNITION, alcohol, cigarettes, knives, food, etc. Yet, he, while hauling bullets, forget he had them on there? This is where the mistake went to being a total felon. Jabin lied to police, stating he had nothing to declare. This made him, by his own omission of the facts, a smuggler. Not an innocent, hard working American who made a mistake. You see, he forgot to claim all this:
Sadly, the lies have yet to stop right there. Now, Jabin's mother, Ms. Smith, is acting like the typical drama queen you can only expect when someone is trying to glorify their loved one as a political prisoner. She, along with the owner of Demco Express, the owner of United Nations Ammunition Company, and several others, who I mentioned in my last piece about this debacle, know exactly what Jabin was doing, thinking, and saying, although they weren't there, and they have no clue. They lie by acting like they have a clue of the situation. For the sake of Jabin, I think they need to hush, let the courts play out, and let the three ring circus they've created die out.

Here's my stand, and my final word here:
1. The blind should be silenced. They don't know exacts because, simply put, they weren't there. I don't know specifics. I do know he broke the law. Breaking the law, and lying to law enforcement, is not an honest mistake.
2. C. H. Robinson being the broker for the other drops does not mean that certain people, namely Allen Smith, should throw them under the bus. They have nothing to do with this situation.
3. The hysterics and claiming your son is a political prisoner makes me wonder if you drink from the same kool-aid as the 9/11 truthers. Get a grip woman. Yes, he's your son, but he's a grown man who had a blatant disregard for the law and international borders, and shall be punished accordingly. My father would've tried to raise awareness for a lighter sentence without hosting a three ring circus ran by ass clowns (sorry, there is no better description for them).
4. The owner of Demco Express, Dennis Mekenye, needs to stick to one story. It changes too much, exposing more lies. In a recent interview with Allen Smith, he claimed he maintains constant tracking. Yet, he told ABC News, "Mekenye became worried about his employee's whereabouts when he turned on the tracking system linked to Bogan's truck and saw Bogan was in Mexico. He reached Bogan by phone Tuesday afternoon." You can't keep it on constantly, then say you just turned it on. You contradicted yourself.

Lastly, I think Texas Fred said it best, "From the *How STUPID are YOU?* files comes this story.
Driver with 268,000 Rounds of Ammo Took Wrong Turn to Mexico

A *wrong turn*? Seriously?

I lived in El Paso for YEARS and it is damned near IMPOSSIBLE to take a wrong turn into Juarez. Unless you’re STUPID. I mean TOTAL MORON stupid.

When I lived in El Paso, even if you did get headed to Mexico by mistake, there was a U-turn BEFORE the border, you know, just in case, and there were NO GUNS signs all over the place, no guns in Mexico that is
."
