These
are at the center of an international smuggling controversy. Due to one man's "mistake" that led to him to lie to police in a different country, breaking the law. Let's bring the face of Jabin Bogan Akeem or Jabin Akeem Bogan or Bogan Akeem Jabin or Bogan Jabin Akeem, depending on which source of media you are using.
You see, Jabin turned the wrong way on a street. All of us do this. The difference is, most would make a u-turn before they went into another country illegally. He claims there was no place to do that. Let's look at the evidence shall we? These pictures are right at the border, going into Mexico.
Also, all outbound traffic (i.e. traffic going into Mexico) passes through a Mexican checkpoint. The U.S. is not responsible for traffic going into Mexico, just as Mexico is not responsible for traffic going into the U.S. If you decide to go from Mexico to the U.S., you must pass through the U.S. Border Patrol. If you decide to go from the U.S. into Mexico, you deal with Mexican border patrol. The claim that a checkpoint on the U.S. side told him to go into Mexico and turn around is bunk. The color of the uniform doesn't even match. He claimed they were in a dark blue uniform. If you've ever been through one of the many checkpoints along 8, 10, 40, and the ones sprouting up on 90 and 80 on occasion, you'd know they never wear dark blue. They are always in military colors or black. The colors don't change right at the border.
Now, he might've been dumb enough to not believe the Mexican agents could speak English, and somehow missed the Spanish writing all over the uniform, after all, he couldn't read the many signs warning him that he was about to enter Mexico, but how did he miss the HUGE sign in Spanish saying Welcome to Mexico in Spanish? How did he not think "I'm stopping right now, and will stay stopped until someone helps me turn around?"
Also, how he did he forget he had something, or shall I say, 268,000 some things to claim? They go through a list, in English, of things to claim. Including, but not limited to, guns, AMMUNITION, alcohol, cigarettes, knives, food, etc. Yet, he, while hauling bullets, forget he had them on there? This is where the mistake went to being a total felon. Jabin lied to police, stating he had nothing to declare. This made him, by his own omission of the facts, a smuggler. Not an innocent, hard working American who made a mistake. You see, he forgot to claim all this:
Sadly, the lies have yet to stop right there. Now, Jabin's mother, Ms. Smith, is acting like the typical drama queen you can only expect when someone is trying to glorify their loved one as a political prisoner. She, along with the owner of Demco Express, the owner of United Nations Ammunition Company, and several others, who I mentioned in my last piece about this debacle, know exactly what Jabin was doing, thinking, and saying, although they weren't there, and they have no clue. They lie by acting like they have a clue of the situation. For the sake of Jabin, I think they need to hush, let the courts play out, and let the three ring circus they've created die out. One quote I absolutely love on this one is how Howie, owner of the bullets, claims they can't fit inside of an AK-47. These are .308, or 7.62 mm NATO grade, bullets. I kept thinking, as the gun enthusiast I am, that this sounded erroneous at best. Certainly, my research led to the fact that this is also a blatant lie. You see, AK47world.com verified my thoughts. Click here to see the ammo list for an AK-47. Howie Glaser, you are a LIAR!Howie also wants you to believe that all the ammunition was intended for shooting sports. I do not believe blood sports, such as war and militias are known as shooting sports. His web site has many items that are just what he claims, NATO grade. But NATO grade weapontry aren't used to hunt deer or moose or wolves or bison or hogs; nor are they used for shooting competitions, unless it is a higher level reserved for military and police personnel. So, his innocent claim about his ammunition is bunk. The .308 or 7.62 mm NATO grade are fitting of guns mostly used by military, SWAT, guerillas, militias, and cartels. I mean, are you going to use a Heckler & Koch G3KA4 to defend your home? No! They have to be deactivated in order to legally be sold. The cartels in the country he smuggled the bullets into use them though. G3KA4's and the rest of the H & K G3 family are hot commodities on the black market. Also fitting for this type of bullet are: Saiga 308 (7.62), Kel Tec RFB, AR-10, etc. Now, keep in mind, I am a gun enthusiast. As a teenager, I did plenty of shooting competitions. I've shot a majority of these for fun. These are not home defense or hunting weapons, and unless used for war prep, domestic terrorism, or doomsday prepping, there's no reason to buy these in the huge bulks that Howie offers them in. On a Fox News video, one of the boxes was clearly marked "PAKISTAN." What does that mean to us? (This isn't including his parachute flares, golf ball launchers, or other horrible ammo.) Please, Mexico, destroy the ammunition, don't give him back his bullets! Here's my stand, and my final word here:1. The blind should be silenced. They don't know exacts because, simply put, they weren't there. I don't know specifics. I do know he broke the law. Breaking the law, and lying to law enforcement, is not an honest mistake.2. C. H. Robinson being the broker for the other drops does not mean that certain people, namely Allen Smith, should throw them under the bus. They have nothing to do with this situation.3. The hysterics and claiming your son is a political prisoner makes me wonder if you drink from the same kool-aid as the 9/11 truthers. Get a grip woman. Yes, he's your son, but he's a grown man who had a blatant disregard for the law and international borders, and shall be punished accordingly. My father would've tried to raise awareness for a lighter sentence without hosting a three ring circus ran by ass clowns (sorry, there is no better description for them). 4. The owner of Demco Express, Dennis Mekenye, needs to stick to one story. It changes too much, exposing more lies. In a recent interview with Allen Smith, he claimed he maintains constant tracking. Yet, he told ABC News, "Mekenye became worried about his employee's whereabouts when he turned on the tracking system linked to Bogan's truck and saw Bogan was in Mexico. He reached Bogan by phone Tuesday afternoon." You can't keep it on constantly, then say you just turned it on. You contradicted yourself. Lastly, I think Texas Fred said it best, "From the *How STUPID are YOU?* files comes this story. Driver with 268,000 Rounds of Ammo Took Wrong Turn to Mexico
A *wrong turn*? Seriously?
I lived in El Paso for YEARS and it is damned near IMPOSSIBLE to take a wrong turn into Juarez. Unless you’re STUPID. I mean TOTAL MORON stupid.
When I lived in El Paso, even if you did get headed to Mexico by mistake, there was a U-turn BEFORE the border, you know, just in case, and there were NO GUNS signs all over the place, no guns in Mexico that is."
As I start to write this, the song "My Axe" by Insane Clown Posse is running through my head. This has become my war cry song. "Everybody, everybody, everybody run. Murdering, murdering, murdering fun. Swing, swing, swing, chop chop chop." Why is it my war cry? Because it's fun and I can sing/scream while laughing every time. Thanks clowns.........I'm a proud juggalo! A lot of talk has been coming out about equality for women drivers. I may not drive, but I'm out here everyday also. I see where the equality is not there in many different aspects. Driver or just a woman in trucking, things do need to change. I, like a lot of women, don't talk much about it for I would rather prove it. I'll throw straps and chains, help tarp, and do all the behind the scenes stuff. My first time strapping was over a year ago, and in my infinite newness, I threw the strap wrong. People who flatbed know that if you throw it basketball style, it'll come back on your head. Trust me, doesn't feel very good. But, I had the "steering wheel holder" mentality and knew it all, so when Lou tried to tell me how to throw it, my response was, "I got this." The next thing I knew, BAM!!! Followed by me allowing Lou to teach me. He still to this day picks on me about having to prove something. I've learned from that and since then that I don't have to try as hard to prove myself. Just a warning, this will be more controversial than what a lady's article will say for I'm going completely into everything. We have to run the cb when oversized. A driver will let us know he's coming up, and I'll thank him for the notice, let him know when he/she can come back over. The next thing you will here is "you should be at home, barefoot and pregnant," "whore," "cum bucket," "you sound sexy," "what are you wearing," etc. Newsflash! I'm not a whore, can't get pregnant, and could be 500 lbs with bacne, 5 necks, and a nasty b.o. wearing a french maid costume. Still wanna talk to me on the radio? Women should be able to freely talk on the radio like professionals. It's ridiculous that this is the constant harassment we deal with. Guess what? We're out here, we aren't going anywhere, and you need to deal with it! Go to a shop, call a broker/consignee/shipper, etc. You will have them ask if you can have the driver call them instead of the office. When you say you're in the truck, you get a shocked sound from who it was. What? Didn't think a woman could be in the truck. Are you seriously stuck in the 40's? Next one! There are co-pilots. Some of them, like myself, have physical disabilities that make it where we can't drive. Can I walk? Yes. Can I always walk and feel my legs? NO. Could I drive? Maybe. Is it worth your family's life for me to prove myself? No. So, I don't. Ask Lou what I do. Ask those who truly know me what I do. I'm not a "seat cover," "just a passenger," or whatever derogative sexist term you can come at me with. I do 90% of the paperwork, I deal with permits, faxes, bill ladings, dispatch, safety, accounting, brokers, shippers, consignees. On top of this, I network with several truck stops, chrome shops, trucking companies, web sites, advocates, etc. I try to stay up to date on my social media accounts and web sites while doing research for countless drivers, doing some life coaching, and trying to ensure Lou is okay. The term is Trucker's Voice. Meaning one trucker, and it is one trucker at a time if I can manage to work with them one on one. I represent more than one now, I represent thousands. But, I don't represent all and will never pretend to. I do not deserve to have people who don't like me going down to sexist crap like "she's a sleeper leaper/truck troll/whore/lot lizard." It truly depicts intelligence when you do that stuff. My hats off to the women drivers for I know you get it worse. The old school women have paved a major way for the new women truckers and co-pilots. These attitudes that women don't belong, I have one thing to say to you. I dare you to bring that macho man mentality home to your trucking wife and see how fast she pulls a frying pan. That's right, you wouldn't act this way to your wife, so why treat someone else's wife/daughter/sister that way? Just some food for thought.
