So, I'm releasing the R. L. Carter story while tethered and rolling. I don't hear my phone while tethered and I miss a phone call from MPG. MPG frantically has a new story for me to do an article on. (Some days, it never stops....lol)
The FMCSA is trying to give you the option of stating your opinion. The congress is behind you (go to the Interesting Reads subpage under Ask Lou for more info on that), yet you're not behind yourself! It's PATHETIC!!! We've commented, both of us. We told the FMCSA to leave the current HOS alone! How hard was it? It was actually simple as could be! So, what's your excuse? No, seriously, those of you who we hear on the cb and in the truck stop stating how the government hates you and you wish someone would do something, what is your excuse? You're too busy complaining to write something? That someone you want to do something about it is YOU!!!!!! TransFlo wants you to comment. Walk into a Pilot, Flying J, or Love's, grab the comment sheet, fill out the necessary info, and put "leave the current HOS alone," then send it via TransFlo for FREE!!! If we can get this overturned, we can work on getting it where the HOS is right. Baby steps lead to a stampede. So, do your civil duty for your industry, or just keep your mouth shut. I called one out at a truck stop the other day who admitted he wouldn't comment, but yet he wanted to nag. You don't have the right to nag if you're not doing something about the problem. I encourage all to start calling the naggers out!
