In the pursuit of fairness, I've been working with R. L. Carter since the shutdown on getting the messages out.
The lawyer with R. L. Carter Trucking recently sent me an email. The former employees of R. L. Carter still need to contact Mr. Rich Swanson, the lawyer pursuing this case. Here is his statement:
We are continuing to investigate what legal options are available to the former employees of R.L. Carter Trucking, Inc. (“Carter”) at this time. We believe that, at the very least, up to $600 of the wages they are owed may be protected under Indiana law and it also appears that we may be able to file an administrative claim in the bankruptcy case for the entire amount that is owed to the employees.
