CNC Machines are to be fully tarped. This is universal, and doesn't change depending on where you load, like other tarped loads can. That being said, this was not fully tarped. The reasoning for fully tarping a CNC (lathe) machine is due to the fact that there are wires and other electronic equipment that can get wet and ruined. When I took this picture, the machine was in the rain, wires exposed. If you look at the load in the rear view mirror, it is a properly tarped CNC we were loading. Please, when hauling machinery, tarp it fully. You never know if it's a $30,000 or a $1.3 million machine!

    Tarping Hall of Shame

You know that load that the tarp goes by, and you think no way?? We have their pictures! We were going to do an album and leave it at that, but we're going to let YOU comment on them, and put your two cents in. If you have a picture of a bad tarp job, send it trkrsvoice@thetruckersvoice.net. If may get posted. If it does, your name will go with it.
