James "Jamie" Dean Jones, Written by Louis Obadal

In memory of my hero, Jamie Jones.

A cousin, a friend, the older brother I never had. You are missed every day. A day does not go by that I don't think of you with every gear I grab. You taught me so much. I am the man I am today thanks to you.

Jamie Jones was a lifelong bedbugger. Hardworking, dedicated, reliable individual. Jamie was the kind of guy that would help a friend out at the drop of the dime, without a thank you needed. His motto in life was "A clean truck's a happy truck." He was a straight shooter and the ultimate outlaw trucker. His speeding tickets could've wallpapered the Iowa 80.

He kept me safe, always watching over me. He got severely pissed when I flew home, not letting him know where I was going or that I was okay. We were like brothers, we fought all the time, but loved each other. I've learned more from him than I have anyone else. The exact essentials of Jamie are seen in my truck everyday, for his OCD rubbed off on me.

While working by his side, I hated his anal retentiveness. But, if he wouldn't have pushed me the way he did, I would never be where I am now.

Jamie, not a day goes by that I don't miss and love you. I'll see you up there one day.
