Jim Knox, Written by Stephen Knox

                                Picture
What I can remember of my father is he was born in 1929 in Iowa. He met my mother in 1949 and were married. He is a Veteran of Active duty and National Guard. He drove truck in the 50s for North American Van Lines. It was an International Gasoline Rig, one of the few on the road. Divorced 1959 from my mother. I had off and on contact with him for the next 30 years. He passed away on the loading docks in ST Pete Florida from a Cardiac Arrest in the mid 1980s. Anyone that knew him then, he ran mainly up and down the coast, using the CB handle of Appaloosa.
